MT Transfer — iPhone Photo & Video Transfer for Mac and Windows

MT Transfer solves a problem every iPhone user in Iran runs into: getting photos onto a computer quickly and completely, without iCloud, without recompression and without installing anything on the phone.

Key features

  • Cable transfer, no internet, using Apple's official protocol; full USB speed and no size limits.

  • Hidden photos and albums: accurate Hidden/Favorite detection and album browsing exactly as on the phone.

  • Filter, search and bulk select by type, date, album and status; previews with dimensions, date, location and HEVC video playback without extra codecs.

  • Professional transfer queue with live progress, speed and ETA; optional HEIC→JPEG conversion; safe delete-from-phone after a verified transfer.

  • Persian and English, light/dark theme, free plan plus monthly/quarterly/yearly subscriptions paid through Zibal.

Technical architecture

The app is native on each OS for direct USB access and full performance: Swift/SwiftUI on macOS and .NET on Windows, both on top of a shared device-communication layer built on Apple's usbmuxd/AFC protocols (the libimobiledevice family). The media list is read from the iPhone's own Photos database rather than by walking the file system, so albums, Hidden/Favorite state and metadata are exact. Transfers run through a queue with bounded concurrency and resume support, and every file is verified by size/hash after copy — only then is "delete from phone" enabled. HEIC/HEVC previews use system decoders and JPEG conversion is optional. Accounts, subscriptions and the two-device limit are enforced by a Laravel back-end with hardware-bound licences.
